Parete Award Ceremony 2023

The Parete Prize was created in 2017 to remember the life and deeds of Ermando Parete, a survivor of the Dachau concentration camp, who devoted the latest part of his life to spreading values of human dignity and the importance of historical memory through educational activities among young people. The award is given to those entrepreneurs and managers who demonstrate the practical value of knowledge, due to the centrality of higher education as a commitment towards one's own personal improvement as well as society's. These premises motivate the acknowledgment of Giovanni Gorno Tempini as this year's Parete Awardee and the institution of a yearly Parete Award Scholarship to support a talented and deserving Bocconi student.
